One more musical appeared in the repertoire of the Russian Drama Theatre

The premiere of children's musical by Kim Breitburg «The Snow Queen» after the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen with the same name took place on the scene of the Russian Drama Theatre.

It should be marked that until recently the theatre repertoire had only one musical staging — «The Blue Cameo».

The fairy tale was put on the Bashkir stage by director Vladimir Kosov invited from Ukraine. The musical performance «Snow Queen» became the Russian premiere of the musical. More than 30 actors are occupied in the new project; work over performance began two months prior to the premiere. According to actors, the most difficult was a musical part.

In the familiar story about little Gerda who bravely and selflessly go and seek Kai, a careful Grandmother, a clever Hans cat and terrible robbers appeared. Stage directors assure: performance will make you think about what can melt ice in souls and win human callousness.
