The best film of Ufa "Kinozrenie" Festival will depart to New York

The film by Uta native Olga Starikova «I — live», recognised as the winner in the nomination «The Best Director» of the II Open festival of National Films "Kinozrenie" will be sent to New York for participation in the New York Eurasian Film Festival. It will take place in March, 2013.

According to Olga Starikova she did not expect the victory in the nomination.

38 short-length films by directors from Bashkortostan Republic and Russia cities, and from the near abroad countries (Ukraine, Kazakhstan) were presented at the festival of National Films "Kinozrenie".

All short-length films were devoted to important social problems – loneliness of elderly people, uneasy destiny of disabled children, a problem of moral choice, misunderstanding between children and parents. Under the decision of jury 20 nonprofessional directors became the winners of the II Open Festival of National Films "Kinozrenie".
