South Korean guitar player Deikun Chan will execute music of centuries in Ufa

The concert of the South Korean guitar player Deikun Chan will take place in the H.Ahmetov’s Bashkir State Philharmonic Society on November, 8.

As "Bashinform" agency was informed in Philharmonic Society, the program includes compositions by John Doulend, Mauro Giuliani, Isaak Albenis, Arcas Julian, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Alberto Ginastera. Ufa townspeople will hear a live sound of classical guitar without microphones and amplifiers. Chan will play the compositions created specially for the guitar, and also transcriptions and the newest modern compositions.

Musicologists mark that execution of the guitarist differs with velvet softness, the depth of tone colour, clear and expressive phrasing.

Deikun Chan started to study playing the guitar when he was 13 years old, in Seoul. The passion to the instrument made him leave to Spain and enter Barcelonian School «Luthier d'Ars Musicals». Then he continued training in the conservatory in Alicante and in Basel «Musikhochschule». For ten years (1993-2003) he won nineteen competitions in Italy, Portugal, Mexico and Spain.
