Kachalov’s Theatre of Tatarstan returned from tours in Ufa

Actors of the Kachalov’s Bolshoi Drama Theatre of Tatarstan returned fr om Ufa. Here on October 20, the spectators who packed to the full the hall of Academic Russia Drama Theatre RB, tendered an ovation to theatrical fantasy the "Queen of Spades" staged by Alexander Slavutskiy by Pushkin novel, "Tatar-inform" news agency informs referring to the press-service of the Kachalov’s Theatre.

At the hall there were representatives of mass-media and theatre arts of our republic. This visit which for the Kazan theatre was the first for the last 20 years, started a creative cooperation of two Russian theatres of multinational regions. Art directors of the theatres Alexander Slavutsky and Michael Rabinovich said about it in their opening speeches.

The premiere of this performance took place in 1999 at the international festival in Marseilles. Since then for 13 years "Queen of Spades" was showed with success during the Russian and foreign tours.

The "Queen of Spades" was shown in Ufa within the lim its of Days of Tatarstan Culture in Bashkortostan. It should be reminded that cultural events will occur from October 16 till October 25, all over the republic. In Tuimazy tours of Nizhnekamsk Tatar Drama Theatre, in Neftekamsk — Menzelinsky Theatre, in Salavat — the Tatar Theatre from Almetyevsk are planned.Folk music ensembles will play in Bakalinsky, Krasnokamsky, Ilishevsky, Tuimazinsky, Dyurtyulinsky and Octyabrsky regions.
