A Town Photography House by Damir Yalilov is opened in Ufa

The first specialized photo art gallery started working in Ufa. The first exhibition of the Photography House demonstrates the works of the main, whose name it is called after – untimely deceased Damir Yalilov, the initiator of this project. The gallery has an exhibition hall and the studio, supplied with necessary lighting equipment. For citizens of Ufa visits to the gallery will be free.

“Damir was trying to make his idea a reality during almost five years. Unfortunately he has failed to see the results of his work and this House will become a memory of him” – one of the initiators and Damir Yalilov’s sister Elena Astakhova said at the solemn opening ceremony.

The Photography House opens its doors for citizens and guests of the capital also today. Employees of the House promise they intend to update photo expositions every month.
