The V international festival of Turk-speaking theaters “TUGANLYK” is opened in Ufa

The V international festival of Turk-speaking theaters “TUGANLYK” is opened in Ufa, today, September 6, and 14 troupes from Altai, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Khakassia, Kazakhstan, Dagestan, Yakutia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Chuvashia will take part in it. Actors of the Bashkir State Drama Theater by M. Gafuri will present Republic of Bashkortostan with the play “Eclipse” by M. Karim’s tragedy “In the Night of Lunar Eclipse”.

Solemn opening ceremony will take place today on Salavat Ulaev square and the theatrical part of the festival will begin with the historical drama “Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan” on the stage of “Congress-Hall”.

Solemn evening party, devoted to the 100th anniversary from the birthday of the national artist RB, national flutist, singer, actor and pedagogue Gata Suleimanov will take place on the stage of the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet.

The beginning of all performances is at 19 o’clock.

The festival will last till September 13.
