One of the main and most worshiped slavic holidays – Ivan Kupala (St. John the Baptist) Feast was celebrated in Iglinsky region. This year visitors were met in Belarus historical and cultural centre "Baltic". Vasily Novak, the head of the Embassy branch of Byelorussia in RF in the city of Ufa, Pavel Barmin, the vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB became visitors of the holiday. Rafik Musin, the head of Iglinsky municipal administration congratulated everybody on the holiday. Xenia Komleva the manager of the cultural centre told the present about Byelorussians — immigrants, presented interesting facts about culture and life of the Belarus people. Further the holiday proceeded on the glade near Leninsky village. The guests acquainted with history of occurrence of the Ivan Kupala’s day, customs and traditions of the holiday. In honour of the holiday there was a concert of Belarus songs "Syabry", "Rodnik", «Harodny prazdnik», "Sudarushka". During all the event presenters of the concert held various games and quizes with audience, a competition on the best wreath was organised. All interested persons could take part in jumps through a fire, reeling around the fire, swimming in the pond, wreathing.
