Rustem Khamitov has taken the floor at opening of international ballet art festival by Rudolph Nureev

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov was present at the opening ceremony of the XVIII international ballet art festival by Rudolph Nureev, held at the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet.

“It is so pleasant to be present in this hall, where real experts and connoisseurs of ballet art gathered and it is especially pleasant that Uri Grigorovitch – the national artist of Republic of Bashkortostan – is also present here” – the President RB said.

He has also mentioned that “he entered the stage just to say many thanks to this great man and great master, the man, who enriched the culture of Bashkortostan with his famous plays. He was working hard in the 90s. He is working hard now, staging a new ballet and we hope our cooperation will be continued”.

Rustem Khamitov has also told that during his personal talk to the famous choreographer they agreed that all-sided assistance will be rendered to the troupe of the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet.

“We shall do everything possible to make our theater one of the best in Russian Federation” – the President of Bashkortostan stated.
