Bashkir culture - on the main stage of Estonia

The XXXI Days of Old Town are held in Tallinn – the festival, considered one of the main visit cards of the capital of Estonia and it is held under the slogan “The Gates are Opened” this year.
The chairman of Bashkir cultural society of Estonia “AGIDEL” Fluza Khairullina tells the news agency “Bashinform” that this festival is interesting not just for citizens of Baltic states but for tourists from many other countries as well. More than 500 cultural-entertaining actions, 30 exhibitions and 50 excursions are planned this time.
The society “AGIDEL” takes part in many cultural actions, held in Tallinn” – Fluza Khairullina mentioned – “For example the photo of our folk flutist Ilnur Khairullin is placed in the book, devoted to the 30th anniversary of the Days of Old Town”.
According to her Bashkir cultural society has recommended itself quite well at the festival, so in 2012 this organization won the right to play in the very center of Tallinn – on the Town Hall Square. Thus, presenters Rimma Bagautdinova and Ilnur Khairullin announced the numbers in Russian and Estonian languages, presented the artists and told about national Bashkir musical instruments and folk dances, acquainted the public with the peculiarities of Bashkir national clothes. The performance of Bashkir artists was broadcasted live by Estonian TV.
