The Days of culture of Chuvashia started in Bashkortostan

The Days of Chuvash culture started in Bashkortostan and plays and concerts will be shown on stages of theaters and culture houses in Ufa, Sterlitamac and Bashkir regions from May 30 to June 1. Various exhibitions and presentations will be held at local museums and libraries. Thus, the play “Yalta”, staged by Chuvash State Academic Dramatic Theater by K. Ivanov will be demonstrated today in Sterlitamac and the show of Chuvash State Academic Folk Song and Dance Ensemble will take place in Chekmagushevsky region RB.

The premiere of the first Chuvash musical “NARSPI” will take place in Ufa ob May 31 and it will be the key event of the Chuvash Days in RB. The musical is staged to the motifs of legendary story of Chuvash literary classical writer Constantine Ivanov, born in Bashkortostan. In Chuvashia this musical has already become one of the brightest cultural events at late.

About 300 activists of culture from Chuvashia take part in the Days of culture. The Days of Chuvash literature and culture have been held in Bashkortostan lately in 1982.
