Michael Smirnov from Salavat has become laureate of international literary contest by A.N. Tolstoy

Flower ceremony for winners of the international contest of children and youth literature by A.N. Tolstoy has taken place in State Duma yesterday.
Representative of Bashkortostan is also present among laureates of the contest – this is Michael Smirnov from the town of Salavat. He is rewarded with the diploma in the nomination “Prose for teenagers” for the story “Return Lost Childhood”.
Press-secretary of Russian Youth Public Chamber Mary Sarkisyan reports the contest has taken place already for the fourth time and this year has become record-breaking by many indices. Its geography became wider. Literary works practically from all over the world came to Moscow – Byelorussia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Israel and the USA and from all Russian regions as well. More than 300 authors have taken part in the contest in total complexity. The jury has chosen 14 best ones, rewarded with the contest’s prizes. Representatives of Ivanovo, Orel, Murmansk, Samara regions and authors from Krasnodar, Far East, Krasnoyarsk regions and also from republics of Komi and Bashkortostan have become its laureates.
