Delegation from Poland takes part in Days of Polish culture in Bashkortostan
Solemn opening of the Days of Polish culture in Bashkortostan has taken place on May 11 in Ufa at the Bashkir State University and delegation from Poland, headed by the Consul Jacob Herald, arrived in Ufa for participation in the Days. The staff of the delegation from Poland includes the vice-director of a pre-school education institution from the town of Olesko Danuta Paukst, the teacher of Polish language Henrika Yakhimovitch and teacher of primary classes from the gymnasium N3 by Johann Paul the II in the town of Olesko Renata Baranovskaya.
“I am aware that the Days of Polish culture are held in Bashkortostan not for the first year” – Jacob Herald stated during opening ceremony – “I think that citizens of the Republic are familiar with Polish culture due to wide activity of the local Polish Culture and Enlightenment Center”.
