All-Russian festival “Golden Peregrine” gathered young talents in Kumertau again

The II all-Russian contest of children’s and youth crafts “Golden Peregrine” is opened in the town of Kumertau within the frames of the Year of happy childhood and family values and about 900 young artists and jacks-of-all-trades from Bashkortostan and other Russian regions take part in it.
Creative competition in four nominations is held on May 11-12 – choreography, vocal, decorative-applied art and instrumental. The gala-show and summing up of the contest’s totals will take place on May 13.
The first all-Russian festival-contest of children’s and youth crafts “Golden Peregrine” has taken place in the same town in 2011 and about 800 people were taking part in it that time. The idea of such festival has arisen after the victory of local folk dance band “Contrast” at the international festival-contest “Hopes of Europe” in January 2011.
