Turkish TV issued a program about Bashkortostan

The three-hour morning TV-program, made by Turkish state TV “ENIGUN” (New Day), broadcasted on the eve of the International Women’s Day, was devoted to Republic of Bashkortostan. The representative of Bashkortostan in TUKSOY Akhat Salikhov and the Bashkirs, living in Turkey, took part in it: singer Alfia Bessler, author of many modern pop songs Saria Valeeva and web-designer Zilya Khazina. The talk about history, literature and national Bashkir cookery was accompanied by Bashkir folk songs. Zilya Khazina told about the site “Bashkir cookery”, designed by her jointly with her husband, acquainted TV-watchers with her works, published by Turkish magazines and read her story “Butterfly’. Poetess Saria Valeeva told about her creative activity and read her own poems and the Rami Garipov’s poem “Native Language”. Together with Zilya Khazina she shared the secrets of national Bashkir cookery. The representative of Bashkortostan in TURKSOY Akhat Salikhov told about Bashkir culture and about TURKSOY activity in popularization of Turk cultural achievements and about actions of the Year of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan. Phone talks with the daughter of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan professor Isenbike Togan (Istanbul), composer Ural Rashitov (Ufa), the presenter of the TV program “The Heap of News” Asia Salikhova (Ufa) and with the director of the society of Ural-Volga Turks from the town of Eskisehir Abdulvakhit Erden, whose ancestors were natives of Bashkortostan, have taken place during the live broadcast. The messages of TV-watches, coming by e-mail from different countries, were ventilated too.
