The TV-channel “Culture” will show a documentary about Bashkir wild bees “Wild Honey”, made by the producer Sergey Krivosudov, on December 12 at 13 o'clock. The executive producer of the project Mansur Umagulov says to “Bashinform” that the film was shot this autumn in the Bashkir state natural reserve in Burziansky region . A part of the means for the shooting was allocated by the Government RB at the expense of the Presidential grant, meant for the activists of culture.
Wild bee-keeping is the most ancient form of bee-keeping, still existing in the thick forests of South Ural in Republic of Bashkortostan. Wild-honey farmer is a disappearing profession and already lost for the majority of European countries. Ecological foods are recently becoming very popular in Europe and, for example, the authorities of Poland, where wild bee-keeping once existed too, decided to restore this ancient business.
