New site www.kulturarb.ru was presented in Ufa

Presentation of a new project, initiated by the Ministry for culture RB, has taken place in the office of the World Bashkir Kurultay (Congress) in Ufa. This is the internet portal www.kulturarb.ru (the cultural world of Bashkortostan). Many heads and representatives of cultural institutions and organizations have taken part in the opening ceremony. Many of them keep their own sites but till now the unified source of information about culture of Bashkiria was absent. The new site was opened two months ago. But specialists still go on working over it.

The site can be read in Russian, Bashkir and English languages and consists of 12 subdivisions. The project was designed in accordance with the instructions of the President RB. Rustem Khamitov has congratulated all internet users in the preliminary recorded video appeal and marked the importance of internet in the world today. The appeal was recorded on the symbolic background: the statuette of the Sarmatian deer – the symbol of the ancient art in the region – was located near the President of Bashkortostan.
