Bashkir ballet starts touring in Europe

The ballet troupe of the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet begins a big tour in Europe. The Theater's press-service reports the troupe will be absent during almost two months, beginning from November 9 and till January 2, 2012. It is expected that for this period of time the artists of the Bashkir ballet will make more than 50 shows in big and small towns of Germany, Finland, Italy and Czechia. The European spectators will watch the plays “Sleeping Beauty”, “The Nutcracker” and “The Swan's Lake” by Peter Tchaikovsky as well as the ballet “Romeo and Juliette” by Sergey Prokofiev.

While the Bashkir troupe is touring in Europe, the artists from the Italian theater “Fabula Saltica Dance Company” from the town of Rovigo will play on the stage of the Ufa Theater of opera and ballet on November 26 and 27 with two programs: “Ballads” and “The Triptych”. In the beginning of winter, on December 4 and 5, the national ballet of Spain will also show two stagings in Ufa: “The Legend” and “Duality”.
