State awards are presented to activists of culture and art of Bashkortostan

Popular artists, producers, musicians and composers – 31 people received state awards today. The solemn ceremony, dated to the forthcoming Republic Day, has taken place on October 7 in the Ministry of culture RB and was headed by the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina.

“The culture of Bashkortostan represents a visit card of our Republic on the international arena and if somewhere we just start moving towards the international level, then our culture has long ago reached it” - Zugura Rakhmatullina said during the ceremony - “We are known as a multinational, multi-confessional Republic, rich with cultural traditions, where great number of nationalities live side by side. And this is your great merit in this potential – the activists of culture and art, the servants of spirit. You learn us to be in love with this world, to understand beauty and kindness. We are always proud of our culture and thank you all for that”.
