Ufa can become the site for discussion of the problems of the national cinematograph

The business forum, devoted to the problems of national cinematograph, will be possibly held in Ufa already this autumn. The Republican cinematographers appealed to the Union of Cinematographers RF with the proposal to hold the forum on the problems of production, distribution and demonstration in the capital of Bashkiria. The initiators of the forum intend to enlist the support of the specialists of the higher bodies, in particular, of Nikita Mikhalkov himself. The Bashkir division of the Union of Cinematographers RF has discussed the future plans of its activity some days ago, as the secretary of the Union’s Bashkir division Farit Gabitov reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

According to him the cinematographers were discussing the long-term program of the Union’s activity. The chairman of the Union of Cinematographers RB Aisyak Umagulov has ventilated the decision concerning the necessity to work up the Concept of development of cinematography in Bashkortostan till 2020 and for that it is planned to invite competent specialists, cinema professionals to the Republic and to organize the business forum of cinematographers here.
