The President of culture, tourism and gastronomy Association of Italy Massimiliano Panero arrived in Ufa

The President of the Italian culture, tourism and gastronomy Association Massimiliano Panero arrived in Ufa to get to know our Republic and its investment opportunities better. It is planned that the joint Bashkir-Italian art project will be worked up in the upshot of the visit, as the President of the Painters Union RB, a member of UNESCO international painters federation Vladislaw Pegov reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

He said the project would be developed within the frames of the Year “Russia-Italy” and is called to consolidate the cultural bonds of both countries, in particular, of Bashkir and Italian painters.

“At present time great number of our compatriots, including painters, live in Italy” – he said – “They have close and friendly relations with their Italian colleagues and on the base of these contacts the idea concerning joint Bashkir-Italian art project was born”.

Massimiliano Panero will spend four days in Bashkortostan and business meetings with the authority, business people and, sure, with the acolytes of fine art are scheduled. Thus, the conference of the Painters Union RB is scheduled on Friday, July 8, in the Ufa’s Congress-Hall. The exhibition of local painters will be opened within its frames. In the upshot of the conference the best works will be chosen for participation in the international art project in the city of Turin, Italy. It is expected the first exhibition within the frames of the Bashkir –Italian art project will take place in Italy already in September. The Italian party intends in its turn to hold the exhibition of Italian painters in Ufa in November-December.
