An exposition devoted to patriotic wars will be opened in the National museum

The exhibition opening «Patriotic wars in the history of our country» will take place on June 21, in the National museum of Bashkortostan.

As "Bashinform" agency was informed in the museum, objects and documents of three domestic wars will be shown at the exhibition: Patriotic War of 1812, the First World War and the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 years. Thus, visitors can see a large quantity of engravings, drawings and photos on which the main events of three wars, the soldiers’ everyday life and the situation in the rear are embodied. Household goods of soldiers, money of those times, awards, cold steel and fire-arms of the 19-20 centuries are also presented there.

Within the limits of the 70 anniversary from the date of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War the topic «Contribution of Workers of Bashkortostan Republic to the Victory» is widely covered at the exhibition. Also information materials about defenders of the Brest fortress — natives of Bashkiria, the information on the divisions formed in Bashkir ASSR are included in the exposition.
