International festival of national cultures “BERDEMLEK-Concord-2011” to be held in trans-Ural zone

The international festival of national cultures “BERDEMLEK-Concord-2011” is traditionally held in Bashkortostan in the beginning of June within the frames of the federal program “Culture of Russia”. It is held once a year and every time on different sites. This year the festival will be held in trans-Ural zone – in Abzelilovsky, Beloretsky and Utchalinsky regions RB and in the town of Sibay. The festival is initiated by the Ministry of culture RF, the State Russian Folk Art House, the Ministry of culture RB, the Republican Folk Art Center and by the local municipal administrations.

The festival’s preliminary program includes the joint show of all participants, carnival processions, arts and crafts fairs and exhibitions. The action “Nature, Man, Culture, IREMEL-2011”, initiated by photo-painters of Russia and CIS, will be also held within the frames of the festival.

Besides, the “Russian Song Festival”, the felt festival and the national plough festival are scheduled too.
