Four theaters from Bashkortostan to take part in jubilee festival “Nauruz” in Kazan

Four theaters from Bashkortostan will take part in the jubilee international theatrical festival of Turk nations “Nauruz” in Kazan. The festival will be solemnly opened on May 30 on the square in front of the Tatar State Academic Theater by Galiaskar Kamal.

The Bashkir State Academic Dramatic Theater by Majit Gafuri (the plays “SHAURAKEY”, “Dear, dear people”), the Ufa State Tatar Theater “NUR” (the play “Clear Water of Sadness”), Tuimazinsky Tatar State Dramatic Theater (“The Legionary”) and Sibaysky Bashkir State Children’s Theater “SULPAN” (“The abduction of hooligan”) will present their works in the festival’s program on June 1 and 2.

The jubilee festival “Nauruz” will gather about 550 guests and participants from nine Russian regions (Saint-Petersburg, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Khakassia, Altai, Dagestan, Tuva and Yakutia) and from eight countries – Turkey, Moldavia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany and Japan.

The artists will present 33 performances at the festival, which have to be traditionally discussed by the collegium of critics, headed by the doctor of art criticism, Professor of RATI-GITIS, the chairman of the Shakespeare Commission under the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexei Bartoshevitch.
