Eugene Rakhimkulov
The personal exhibition of popular Bashkir-Bulgarian painter Cornelia Margan “Impressions” is opened in Istanbul in the exhibition hall of the Russian society of enlightenment, cultural and business relations.
The subject-matter of the major part of her works is related to nature – sea landscapes, flowers, exotic birds and animals. Besides, Cornelia Margan specially prepared four new works to the Turkish subject-matter: “Turkish Madonna”, “Turkish Woman” and two works from the cycle “The Sky of Istanbul”.
Cornelia Margan is the pseudonym of our compatriot Nellie Merzabekova. She was born in Orenburg, for a long time lived in Bashkiria and later resettled to Bulgaria. In 2010-2011 her exhibitions have been held in Sophia, Nizhniy Novgorod, Ufa and Meleuz.
