The brass band from gymnasium by G. Almukhametov is the winner of Grand-Prix of the international contest “The Golden Lyre”

The senior brass band of the Republican gymnasium by G. Almukhametov has won the Grand-Prix at the international children’s festival “The Golden Lyre-2011” in Moscow. Young musicians were admitted the best in the nomination “Instrumental performance”, as the senior specialist-expert of the Ministry of education RB Aigul Yaparova reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

More than 20 children’s and youth instrumental orchestras and ensembles, brass bands, jazz and folk orchestras and vocal bands from Russia, CIS and foreign countries have taken part in the nomination “Instrumental performance”. The bass band from Ufa has introduced the program, consisting of works by Khachaturyan, Rimsky-Korsakov and Badelt.
