Citizens of Ufa may watch Bible plots by Marc Chagall

The exhibition “Marc Chagall: the Bible plots” is opened at the Bashkir State Art Museum by Michael Nesterov. The exposition presents 76 sheets of one of the most essential graphic series, made by the great painter – the illustrations for Bible, executed in the technique of black-and-white and colored lithograph. The exhibition consists of several private collections from Germany. The works by Marc Chagall from this series are absent at the Russian museums, so this project can be called unique. The exhibition will work till May 29.
