Bashkir film will be demonstrated at Cannes filmfest

For the first time in the history of Bashkir cinematography the short “ENMESH” will be demonstrated out-of-competition at “Short Film Corner Festival de Cannes”, the editor of the film-studio “Bashkortostan” Zukhra Burakaeva reported to “Bashinform”.

The film “ENMESH” (translated as “obstinate” from Bashkir) has been shot at the film-studio “Bashkortostan” by our compatriot, the third-course student of the Saint-Petersburg State Cinema and TV University Ainur Askarov in summer 2010 in Khaibullinsky region of Bashkiria. The film has already been nominated for “The best cameraman work” at the contest “ProLook-2011”. The film has also won the special prize from the TV-channel “Country” for “Big Love of Small Motherland”.
