National Library RB issued catalogue of ancient and rare books

The National Library RB by Akhmet-Zaki Validi issued “The Catalogue of ancient and rare books in foreign languages”, made on the base of the library’s fund. The majority of the books, included into the catalogue, is a part of the private collection, belonged to the family of Dashkovs and presented to the city of Ufa in the beginning of the XX century.

Presentation of the catalogue will take place on April 8 at the National Library RB. The program consists of the presentation of the books, included into the catalogue, speeches of the leading pedagogues of the chairs of foreign languages and literature and Ufa outstanding culture activists and the theatrical performance, made by the actors of the youth theater under the Ufa Eparchy. The beginning of the presentation is at 15 o’clock.
