Conference “Step in Science” has taken place in Salavat

The Republican scientific-practical conference “Step in Science”, devoted to the Year of consolidation of international concord in Bashkortostan, has taken place at the pedagogical college in the town of Salavat and more than 400 pupils from 15 regions and towns RB took part in its work.

“The conference gives our pupils a chance to show their creative abilities and develop the basics of the scientific and research work” – the director of the college Zulfia Ishembitova says – “The leadership of the college in its turn maintains close interaction with its graduates and many of them, working as school teachers later, bring their children to our college”.

The section of philology was devoted to the 130th anniversary of Majit Gafuri and was held in the “round table” format. The chairman of the Culture Fund “Majit Gafuri – the XXI century” Lucia Kamaeva told about activity of the Fund and about some facts of the poet’s biography. Besides, she presented the collection of Gafuri’s poems in Bashkir and Turkish languages, published by the international organization “TURKSOY” in Ankara.
