Historical-cultural center “Saraily” to be established in Blagovarsky region RB

The historical-cultural center “Saraily” by Kanzafar-Bey will be opened in the village Starousmanovo, Blagovarsky region of Bashkortostan. The corresponding decree is already signed by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.
The Ministry of culture RB reports the center is called to become a spiritual monument of Bashkiria’s free-will entry the staff of Russia because Kanzafar-Bey was an adherent of joining the Russian state and admitted by historians as the main Bashkir parliamentarian, who had started negotiations with the top Russian authority concerning joining Russia. Besides, such centers contribute to restoration of the national arts and crafts, preservation of the national monuments, language and culture.
It is worth saying the villagers of Starousmanovo are considered the scions of Kadash – the fourth son of famous Kanzafar-Bey, who came to Kazan at the head of the Bashkir delegation for signing the treaty with Russia in the XVI century. Kanzafar-Bey stand at the head of struggle of the Bashkirs from the “Min” clan against Nogay beys and was an active adherent of Bashkirs’ joining the Russian state.
The village Starousmanovo is located in the south of Blagovarsky region on the bank of Balyshly-river. According to the legends the village is founded about 300 years ago and the first records about it can be met in 1788. At present time 68 people in the village.
