Once again, Ufa State Traffic Inspectorate officers stopped a vehicle driven by a minor.
Yesterday, while on duty on Dagestanskaya Street in the capital of Bashkiria, police stopped a HAVAL M6. The person behind the wheel turned out to be a student from one of Ufa's schools. His father was summoned to the scene, and the car was sent to a specialized impound lot.
The case materials have been submitted to the commission on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights to decide whether to hold the young driver's parents accountable for failure to fulfill parental duties.
"Even one thoughtless trip can result in a serious tragedy, financial losses, and being placed on a monitoring list. Car keys must be kept in a place inaccessible to minors. Children's safety is the responsibility of parents," the Ufa State Traffic Inspectorate warns.
